NUSA Volunteers Needed
The City of Birmingham is seeking city employees to volunteer this Wednesday, Thursday or Friday for the 43rd Annual Neighborhoods USA (NUSA) conference at the Sheraton Hotel. Employees may volunteer at least 4 hours of their work time in support of NUSA. All employees must have approval, in writing from their supervisor, to participate. Visitors are coming from 33 states, Japan and Nigeria. NUSA is huge for Birmingham. Thank you for considering to volunteer.

You will see 4 tabs at the bottom of the page.
Each tab is for each day of the conference.
Use these tabs to select the day you would like to volunteer.
Any cell you see highlighted red and reads OPEN is open for a volunteer to fill.
Please write your name in the cell. Be sure to include your email address and telephone number in the following 2 cells.
This is a live document, which means when you update it, everyone who has access to this sheet will be able to see the update in real time. This also means if you delete what someone else has written, it will impact the final document. So please only add items to the red cells that read OPEN and add your contact information.
When to arrive: Volunteers are asked to arrive 30 minutes before their shift and check in at The Coat Room near the Sheraton Ballroom. There will be signage to help you find the room. When you check in, you will get a volunteer T-shirt and a parking pass to get out of the Boutwell free of charge. We ask that all volunteers wear khaki pants or black slacks, or a skirt. Please keep it business casual. Remember to please wear comfortable shoes!
