Red Mountain Expressway to I-59/20 NB will close on Oct. 30 until further notice

ALDOT has informed us that starting at 4 p.m. today, Oct. 30 until further notice, Red Mountain Expressway North to I- 59/20 North will be closed for bridge construction purposes.

ALDOT will send out a press release when these lanes will re-open.

Motorists should consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience while these repairs are being made.
