The Economic Impact of Expanding Medicaid in Alabama
We hope you will plan to join us Tuesday, August 30th at noon for the second event in our 2022 Woven Together Learning Series. This lunchtime event will feature Ryan Hankins, Executive Director of PARCA with an update on their recent study, The Economic Impact of Expanding Medicaid in Alabama, that was funded in part by the Community Foundation. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Alabama State Representatives Danny Garrett and Kyle South, former CEO of UAB Health System Dr. Will Ferniany, and Dr. Pia Sen from the UAB School of Public Health. The discussion will be moderated by Melanie Bridgeforth, President & CEO of the Women’s Foundation of Alabama. We are excited to partner with the Kiwanis Club of Birmingham for this event.
