Come to Railroad Park on Sunday, June 3 at 3:30pm for our second Get Healthy on the Railroad Cooking Class of the season! This event is FREE and open to everyone thanks to our sponsor Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. The first 100 registered attendees will receive FREE Piggly Wiggly produce and a recipe card to replicate the dish at home.

Financial Forums on the Railroad, presented by BBVA Compass
Join us each Tuesday in June, starting June 5 for FREE financial classes taught by BBVA Compass Advisors at Railroad Park. Our first class on June 5 will be discussing all things Finance 101, a great primer for those wanting to learn more about their finances. We'll be exploring maintaining your checking & savings accounts, understanding your credit score and protecting yourself against fraud.
Registered participants will be entered into a chance to win a gift from Railroad Park Foundation at the end of each session. Additionally, participants who register and attend all four classes will have a chance to win a gift card from BBVA Compass and a Railroad Park "Park Proud" membership. This membership includes two annual membership stickers, two Trucks by the Tracks tickets, and a limited edition Railroad Park print.

Alabama Symphony Orchestra's Symphony in the Summer returns June 8-10
The ASO is returning to Railroad Park to play three FREE concerts June 8-10 thanks to Regions Bank! Friday & Saturday night will feature classical favorites at 8 p.m., and on Sunday enjoy Family Fun Day with a family-friendly pops concert beginning at 6 p.m. So grab some friends, a blanket, and a picnic, and join us for a fabulous weekend of music!

One night a year, we convert a special section of Railroad Park into an interactive campground for families. A host of experts will give lessons on everything from astronomy to creek ecology to raw materials in nature - and an animal show 'n tell from the Birmingham Zoo will delight campers of all ages. Bring your tent and your family, and we'll take care of the rest. Registration fee includes all activities and an abundance of healthy and delicious food for families to enjoy throughout the event, including multiple dinner options, a variety of snacks and treats, an array of grab ’n go breakfast items, and a plethora of non-alcoholic beverages all catered by Publix!
