World Games 2022 celebrates One-year countdown to Historic event; tickets now available
State and city officials, World Games 2022 leaders, athletes, artists, and more gathered to celebrate and commemorate one year from the beginning of The Games. "What I'm most excited about is that the entire world will get to see and know what we experience every day as Team Birmingham," Mayor Randall L. Woodfin said.
Banks High School Demolition Has Begun
The $400,000 project will make room for new development in the area. "Banks has served this community well, and now it’s time we serve Roebuck Springs and South East Lake just as well by providing new opportunity for its residents," Mayor Randall Woodfin said.
