Crews will conduct water spray testing of the exterior walls and roof of City Hall, May 26 -28. The water spray testing will take place primarily on the 19th Street North side of the building. Other testing will be done inside building. Please note that crews will be outside and inside the building.
Food Truck Friday will return to Short 20th in front of City Hall on Friday, June 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food Truck Friday will be every Friday in June, July and August. The June 4 vendors will include: Aww Shucks, 1918 Catering, Simone’s Kitchen, Lemonade Junkeez, K&J’s Elegant Pastries and produce vendor Roxanne Wallace. Stay tuned for more developments.

Sixth Avenue Baptist’s Church’s grief ministry will host a grief session tonight, May 20, at 6 p.m. with Dr. Eliza Belle, director of Psychology and Behavior Science for Alabama’s Department of Mental Health.
