UPCOMING ADULT & FAMILY CLASSES

'Little Seeds: All About Leaves' is coming on Friday!

Join us as we learn all about leaves and why they change colors. We will go on a leaf scavenger hunt in The Gardens and make a leaf themed craft to take home!

It takes place on Friday, November 16 from 10-11:30 a.m. This class is designed for ages 4-5. Three-year-olds may attend with a parent present.

Very few spots remain for 'Introductory Botanical Illustration' on Saturday

With step-by-step guidance from Joe MacGown, Scientific Illustrator, Mississippi Entomological Museum, learn to see and render colors and dramatic textures of plants in autumn. Use layered pencil, ink and wash to create accurate and lively iamges from a variety of specimens. No previous art experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. Much of this class will be held outside in The Gardens.

It takes place from 9-5 p.m. on November 17. Don't miss it!
