Birmingham Zoo members are invited to a night of food, fun, and a fabulous family film. Enjoy an outdoor showing of Disney's The Lion King (1994).

DATE: Saturday, April 8th, 2023*
TIME: Gates open at 6:15 pm, Movie starts at 7:30 pm
TICKETS: $2 per person for ages 4 and up (infants and children ages 0-3 are FREE)
Snack Pack Tickets: pre-purchase your family's snacks and skip the line!
4-Person Pack: 2 popcorns, 2 waters, 2 Tum-e Yummies, 2 chocolate chip cookies
2-Person Pack: 1 popcorn, 1 water, 1 Tum-e Yummies, 1 chocolate chip cookie
If you pre-purchase either a 2 or 4-person snack pack, please pick those up at our Toucantina snack stand located on Henley Lawn when you arrive.
FOOD: Dinner, snacks, and beverages are available at Nourish 205 restaurant as well as our Toucantina snack bar located in Henley Park.
FUN: FREE carousel rides; Meet and greets with Ambassador Animals
REMEMBER: Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs
*In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled. Tickets will be honored for the new event date.

Glow Wild: An Animal Lantern Celebration At The Birmingham Zoo
Join us for Birmingham Zoo's larger-than-life illuminated experience, Glow Wild 2022: An Animal Lantern Celebration! This extraordinary event will be held on select nights from 5pm until 9pm NOW through January 16th. Guests will be captivated by visually stunning lantern creations of Zoo animals, sea life, fantastical creatures, and wildlife from around the world. Watch the Zoo come alive with hundreds of marvelous animal shapes of all sizes – from zebras, elephants, tigers, giraffes, and a 200-foot-long dragon – some soaring up to 30 feet high! Spend all winter long with your Birmingham Zoo and GLOW WILD into the new year!
