The Birmingham Botanical Gardens is opening soon.

The Birmingham Parks and Recreation Board announced Monday, June 9th that Birmingham Botanical Gardens will reopen to the public on Monday, June 15! A cherished place of respite for our community and visitors from around the world for more than 55 years, Birmingham Botanical Gardens is open to all, and we look forward to welcoming you back to this urban oasis. From June 15 through June 30, the Gardens will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day of the week, with access limited to the front entrance gates. Visitors are encouraged to practice social distancing and to wear masks outdoors in the Gardens if unable to social distance. Face masks are required in all areas inside the Garden Center. 

The Birmingham Park & Recreation Board will reassess the Gardens’ hours, which are normally sunrise to sunset, on July 1.
