NEIGHBORHOOD OFFICER ELECTIONS.

Elections will be on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Hooper City Rec Center, Don Hawkins Rec Center, Memorial Park Rec Center, and Legion Field.

Those interested in voting absentee, may request an absentee ballot by contacting CRR Melony Martin at (205)254-2434. Each absentee ballot must be placed in the return address envelope, and must include a copy of the voter’s current photo identification. There is also the option to vote absentee in person, Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at City Hall in the Community Resource Services Division Suite #202. The final day for absentee voting is March 22, 2021.

 

THE WORLD GAMES 2022.

The World Games 2022 Birmingham is piloting their TWG Trivia Tour series and wants you to be involved! The trivia team will host a virtual trivia game on March 24th at 11 am! You are invited to participate. Click the attached PDF for more information!

COVID-19 VACCINATION.

Jefferson county residents interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine may pre-register by visiting www.jeffcoema.org or call the vaccine hotline at 1-205-858-2221.

 

FOOD TRUCK FRIDAYS AT THE BIRMINGHAM PUBLIC LIBRARY.

During the month of March the Birmingham Public Library will host “Food Truck Fridays” from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Central Library, Avondale, Five Points West, and Springville Road locations.
